How we work it out
A reply in under 5 minutes keeps the full chance of a sale. After that the chance falls: about 80% of it after 30 minutes, 62% after an hour, 45% after 4 hours, 30% the same evening and 15% the next day. These are rules of thumb from how people shop (they ask several businesses and go with the first good answer), not exact numbers for your business.
Enquiries never answered count as fully lost. For follow-ups, we assume about 4 in 100 people who did not buy would come back if followed up properly.
Opening hours: when you only answer the quick questions, we use a typical day for Indian businesses (busy late morning and 7 to 10 pm, quiet overnight) to estimate how many enquiries arrive while you are closed.
